Mangupura - Bali police chief, Inspector General of Police Sugeng Priyanto looked visiting the Kuta area last night, Saturday (31/12/2016). He came to review the location of New Year's Eve. As the new year before, the Bali Police held a candle operations and new year celebration is the culmination of the operation with 3700 deployed personnel.
Until New Year's Eve Bali police chief, Inspector General of Police Sugeng Priyanto confirms that there has been no case that stands out. "Recently there was one report that a traffic accident which resulted in one person died, a single accident, crashed into a car that was stopped," he said at Jalan Pantai Kuta, Badung. He said all areas in Bali safe and controlled during the New Year celebrations.
While the Bali police chief Sugeng ensures post-new year, personnel of Polda Bali remains at some point to secure their respective areas. "For security after the new year we have set, some members already we standby that you make are not empty," he said.
