Everyone who is looking for some action and fun in the evening must go to “Kuta Bali”. Kuta area is extending about 7 kilometers from the original village of Kuta, includes Legian, Seminyak and Basangkasa.  Single visitors flock bars and discotheque at night, making Kuta nightlife turns to be one of the most interesting things to find.

Here are the most popular entertainment places bringing a festive parties for single male or female visitors as well as couples.

There are a plenty places such as Casablanca, which is a down-market open-air pubs with very noisy discos in the Kuta area. Usually, such places are full of stoned Aussies courting Javanese “Kupu Kupu Malams”.

On the border between Kuta and Legian, at the corner of Jalan Melasti, there is Peanuts Discotheque. The discotheque has been re-opened very soon because the old was gutted by fire. This discotheque brings a huge air-conditioned dance floor. It is often crowded full of guests from both locals and younger foreign tourists.

Closer to the center of Kuta area you can easily find the Bounty Ship. It is a noisy and air-conditioned disco where usually young foreign visitors spend their night. There is also the re-built PADDY’S, which is close to the original location. If you want to have something “IN”, there is the newer M-BAR-GO, featuring a really good music and better crowd. Sky Garden is also an interesting place to visit. This bar is placed on the top floor. Under the bar is a three-storey lounge area where you can have some interesting menus. Unfortunately, many visitors said that the menu is huge but disappointing. If most places close at 2.00 or 3.00 AM, but you still want to keep drinking, you can go to MAMA’S and spend the night until sunrise.

For a more civilized evening activities, you can have dinner with a couple of drinks. There are several resturants, bar and lounges you can easily find around Kuta are, such as TJ’s, KORI, NERO, AROMAS, MACCARONI CLUB, MADE’S WARUNG, HU’U, LA LUCIOLA and THE LIVING ROOM.

If you want to have the most “in” and upper class venues of the Kuta nightlife, you can try to go to KU DE TA which is located right on the beach adjacent to the hotel of Oberoi. The place is a perfect option to see and be seen. In the late afternoon there is a DJ giving rather noisy entertainment. KU DE TA is also a great place to watch sunset.

There are also famous international brands in Kuta area, one of them is HARD ROCK CAFE. It is located right at the beginning of the Kuta beach’s road, providing live music from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. However, if you think that this place is too noisy, too crowded or too cold because of its air conditioner, you can try the Center Stage at the Hard Rock Resort located in the back of the cafe. There are live performances from various bands and musicians every night. Hard Rock becomes one of the most popular options when it comes to Kuta nightlife.
